I shall be back in school on Wednesday but for now I am in the desert re-living my many years in the SAS. Whilst I am traversing the endless sands navigating by the stars you have plenty to do:-
- Many of you still have work to complete as an individual response to the observe transform unit - the details are posted on the page for that unit.
- If you have completed and documented your work you may start to think about which two artists ( from two differing cultural contexts) you could base your comparative study on. There are some examples of Comparative Studies in our google folder. The resources posted for previous units are a good place to start - ensure that the artists you want to use have varied and freely available information about them - choosing an artists with little of no academic/reliable sources makes it harder.
- If you reach a point where you feel 'stuck' or in need of a fresh line of inquiry - you can usefully undertake investigation into the work of Gabriel Orozco – an artist we will be looking at together in February - https://www.guggenheim.org/artwork/artist/gabriel-orozco
- Make sure your website of ppt is up to date.
